Biography

Hannah Quay is a Pennsylvania artist from the small town known as Boyertown. She is currently a student at Kutztown University working on her BFA in Studio Art as a drawing concentrated artist, along with earning her minor in Psychology. She is expected to graduate in the Fall of 2024 with her degree. Hannah’s drawings are mainly realistic black and white portraits of herself, family members, and friends to convey emotions of epic proportions on serious topics. She is working on expanding her work into the world of color and working even larger than normal to make an even bigger impact within her work. Some of Hannah’s greatest achievements this year was having some of her work in an “Introduction to Weaving and Textiles” Exhibition held in the College Boulevard Gallery and three of her drawings in the 2024 Fine Arts Senior Exhibition in Miller Gallery at Kutztown University. Her big plans for the future is to hold a solo exhibition before she graduates and keep making work that means so much to her.
